TASK
week 2
This week, we were asked to draw 6 concept sketches for 3 locations based on our proposed game. Total 18 sketches for this week. I had chosen city, mountain, and forest as my locations. I also tried to make the location involved with Malaysian culture.
This week, I redesign the composition for the forest location. I also added 2 more locations of beach and an abandoned temple. I was not able to finish the abandoned temple sketches, so I put some references in them.
In this week, I completed the abandoned temple with 8 sketches in total. After that, I had chosen no.6 to be the final.
I had tried to come out with one final outcome for each location, but I wasn't able to finish all of them. Therefore, I had chosen ruin temple and forest as the final outcome to work on.

week 9
After getting feedback from Mr. Kanan, I started with the ambiance study and detailed the final outcome.
Below is my final submission for project 1.

FEEDBACK
General: Don't make the building too distorted. Look at the perspective. Find and observe the reference. Before you did the photo bashing, you need to make sure you are following the fundamental of the perspective. Add on design to add the story to the drawing. Focus on the temple and the forest, it should be fine.
REFLECTION
In this project, we were asked to come out with 45 sketches which I didn’t complete it, because I did have not enough time to finish them. I feel like I am good at doing thumbnails but not the final render. I am struggling so much with doing the heritage buildings because the perspective is hard and I can’t find the correct value in the building. It takes me a lot of time but it still doesn’t look good. It’s so challenging for me. Therefore, I give up on that and focus on the temple and the forest. I also tried finishing up the buildings after the submission but it looks so bad that I don’t want to resubmit it again ;-;
