TASK

week 6

 In this week, we were asked to practice our pose drawing. Below are my practice and my development of the hero pose.

week 7

In this week, we work on our facial expressions with different emotions. Below are my facial expression sheets.

Week 8

After that, I sketched on the character event costume. Below is the mood board that I followed. I research different costumes that my character would wear, for example, sports attire, royalty costume, dancing clothes, soldier or lolita. 

Below are the final five events costumes that I design.

After that, I focus research on the royalty costume that Song Xi will wear. Below are the five attempts in different variations of royalty costumes.

Week 10

After that, I finalized the default outfit and the royalty outfit as the alternative outfits. Below is the final turnaround for 2 outfits.

REFLECTION

By doing the pose sketches, I had noticed that my line drawing are very bad. I always repeat the line and I am not confident with it. I think that I need to practice more on it. As for the facial expression, I had realized that I am doing the facial expression when I am drawing it AHAHAHA. It was fun. When you are drawing the facial expression, you could look at the mirror and observe the muscle on your face, so you will have a better understanding of it. For the costume design, I enjoy doing it a lot! I feel like it's a break from designing my character (?) because it's actually event costumes. Lastly, I think Song Xi's alternative costume looks cool as well ;)
