TASK
In this week, we were asked to sculpt our character from the other module, Character Design. Below is my character turnaround from Character Design.

fig 2.3 character turnaround |
Below is the reference that I use for my character, because it's a turnaround reference photo, so it's better for me to reference it.
Below is the simple lockout turnaround.

After that, I merged the blockout and did detailed sculpting.

FEEDBACK
The overall looking good, the front view looks fine, but need to work on the hand and legs. It's too thin. The face needs some minor changes as well.
REFLECTION
Project 1 was fine but I watched a lot of tutorials on how to work on the proportion and I had learned that reference is extremely important in sculpting models. I had a lot of a hard time doing the hand and legs because I really don't know how to do it, I keep focusing on the details, but we aren't supposed to. I "steal" the hand and legs from my exercise AHAHAAHAHA. 1 stone to kill 2 birds ;). The face was hard also because I was taught the structure of "European faces" since I start drawing, but Asian faces are not so solid(?). In addition, my character is meant to be strong, powerful, and sexy and it was hard to sculpt and present these. However, it was fun to sculpt and when I see the final outcome, I am very satisfied with that.
