TASK

In this assignment, we were asked to write a 7000 words dissertation with the finding and research data in the last semester in the module Design Research Methodology. Below is my first draft of the dissertation.

Week 15

This week, I submitted my final dissertation after the amendment according to Dr. Hayati's comment.

After that, I submitted it to Turnitin, and below is the Turnitin report of my final dissertation.

FEEDBACK

week 1

• create 3 folders and rename them according to our task given

• For Introduction, Methodology, Appendix can fill in first

• Focus on Literature review now

week 2

• make sure to create a table of content

• the literature should be connective 

• the calling of “researcher” or “author” should be consistence

• Section 2 should have a smooth flow by arranging the theme

week 3

• need to be careful on the spacing.

• should have a summary conclusion for literature review

• use the last name for in-text citation

• do not use a number in the first word of the sentence

• use the latest article for evidence 

• remember to state consent p&c for the interviewees in the research method

week 4

• remember that we need to write a reflection in the progression sheet

• emphasis the research method type

• need to state that my online survey didn’t reach the minimum requirement

• need to indicate the figure for table

• need to describe the division of the question.

week 5

• remember that the discussion section is not just discussing the result from the research method

• the discussion section needs to have statements from the literature review involving

week 6

• Always use APA 7th style

• make sure to have the introduction in every section to keep the reader engaged

• remember to state methodology in the conclusion part

• avoid bais statement

• remember to state section in the appendix

week 7

• Always check if there are any grammar mistake

• be a reader to check if anything needs to be amended 

• check the in-text citation

• can also start to prepare for assignment 2

REFLECTION

week 4 : 

As I am writing the result section, I had found out that there were a lot of mistakes that were not spotted in the last semester.

week 5:

In this week, I didn’t elaborate a lot on my discussion because I am not motivated to write, I hope that I could fix this and manage my time better to get things done faster and on time.

week 6:

In this week, as I am still completing my discussion, I found that writing down keywords of what I want to write in each subsection is really helpful. I read through the whole dissertation and note down all the findings and refine my discussion section.

week 7:

 In this week, I think my time management needs to be improved and several grammar mistakes were spotted in the dissertation. I felt happy that this dissertation draft was almost complete and I hope it should be fine. I will also double-check a few more times before submitting it into google classroom
