TASK
week 1 (23.8.2021)
For this week, we are required to find 3 objects and sketch them out to study their form and value. I had chosen a pencil sharpener and a chair. Below are my sketches.

After that, we were asked to reconstruct the structure of a vehicle. Below is my attempt.

week 2 (29.8.2021)
This week, Mr. Kanan gave us lecture on how to draw different perspectives using the same vehicle and we had a consultation session to discuss about the exercise from last week. After that, we were asked to draw different perspectives using the vehicle that we drew in week 2. I also found another air vehicle to practice my perspective drawing more.

Week 7 ( 10.10.2021)
After that, I did more deconstruction on vehicles. I started with the construction lines and perspective guidelines, then came out with the line drawing of vehicle.

After that, I did value, color, texture studies. I used black and white color to paint it first, then I adjusted the brightness, contrast before adding color to it. I had also tried more color studies after study on the original color.

FEEDBACK

week 2: There was some minor perspective problem but overall it's good. The tire seems a bit off and I should mark out the middle point before drawing.

REFLECTION

In these exercises, I had learned a lot about the structure of the vehicles, how to create better sketches and lines. We should look at the vehicle's basic shape first before we further detail it. I had also learned that practice makes things more perfect. We had studied a lot on different vehicle structures and perspectives, which could help me have a better understanding of vehicles.
