Mr. Shamsul brief us about the final project today and we need to do an max 3 mins video about the topic of 'Misinformation and Disinformation'. We can use the 5 W 1 H to come out with the narrative and the most important thing is Awareness. Our target audience is general public. We must also include some data or statistic.

Mr. Shamsul brief us about how to use After effect.
How to do falling effect and also basic knowledge about after effect.

Mr. Shamsul briefed us about our final group project today and I formed a group with Tze Earn, Miwi, Yuan Ting and Aileen today. We then arranged to a break out room and we start to think about what topic we want to do for the topic of 'Misinformation and Disinformation' We started to write down our ideas in Padlet to brainstorm about it.

After that we had our meeting at discord on 6th Jan, and we came out the topic of does goldfish really have 3 seconds of memories as we want to do something more chilling as other groups are doing things that are serious. On the next day, we had our second meeting and we come out with the content research and also the slides for presentation.

We did some brainstorming on the app milanote that Tze Earn suggested to use. We could collaborate to include text and images on the same time. We share our thoughts and we have a clearer picture of how our motion infographic would look like.

After than we are discussed among ourselves to split the job, Aileen and I would do the illustration and Tze Earn, Miwi, Yuan Ting would do the sound and animation. Here are illustration that I did.

week 4 ( animatic )
For this week, Me and Aileen work on the keyframe visual and Yuan Ting, Tze Earn and Miwi will work on the animation part. Aileen will work on Act 2,4 and I will work on Act 1,3,5. Although I took more parts, but the assets in 1,3,5 are more easy to draw than 2,4.

For this week, me and Aileen drew the assets. I drew the assets of Act 1, 3, 5 but Aileen will help me to draw the people in Act 1 and 5 to make the style look consistence and I will help her to draw Tv and fish tank.

Me and Aileen finished all the drawing and Tze Earn, Miwi and Yuan Ting started the animation.

This is the final outcome for our final project.
FEEDBACK
week 1 (1.9.2021)
We present our slides today and Mr. Shamsul said that we still need to research more and the topic is quite interesting.
week 2 (15.1.2021)
We need to make sure the video is meet the requirement of minimum 3 minutes and also we need to make sure that our first debunk case is correct as goldfish cannot live in salt water.
week 3 (23.1.2021)
We need to make sure the video is in 3 minutes that we need to cut some scene. We need to come out with our animatic next week.
week 4 (28.1.2021)
Mr. Shamsul likes our animatic and he suggested us to add more sound effect and we could move on on our project.
week 5 (8.2.2021)
Mr. Shamsul said that our assets are consistent and he suggest us to draw background for our scenes.
REFLECTION
In this project, I am happy that we chose a topic that is not so heavy or serious as it is fun and easy to remember. I think we had a good start on choosing topic. Everyone in group are friendly and we are working well together.
I notice that in group we need to be active to contribute as much as we can to get things done faster and better. I found that padlet is a good platform to note down or ideas as this is the first time of me using padlet. During the asset drawing part, because my style are a lot different form Aileen, so I was scared that our style cannot be consistent but it turns out quite well. I also notice that Aileen's draft for the keyframe are very clear, that's what I need to learn from her.
I had learn a lot of things through this project as everyone are active and willing to help each other. I am very happy to work with my group mates as they would listen to my opinion and helped me a lot. I think I had improve the communication skill with people and also how to work in a group.
